2024-25 NBA running thread

So the Jokic 30-20-20 game...

He had a triple-double 2 minutes into the 3rd quarter.

Over the rest of the game, in the second half...

...he recorded a second triple-double.

Goddamn.

Goddamn.

And yet ... not the MVP.

Pacers/Bucks game was fantastic and reminded me why Giannis is the most overrated player in the ashociation.

Plus, Pacers topped 100 for an amazing 98th consecutive home game.

No, I sighed because of the "narrative of new" that will lead to SGA winning MVP.

I like SGA. Love him and his game. I think he's had a remarkable year, one we've only seen a few times with guards.

Joker is doing stuff no one has ever seen before. He should be MVP again, but... narrative of new.

The Ringer polled its NBA writers on who they would vote for right now. Nine out of ten picked Jokic.

I think SGA was the leader before Jokic went 30/20/20. Now, I don't know.

With all due respect to Donovan Mitchell, the Cavs are having a tremendous year, but he is not within a mile of the MVP discussion. Nor should he be.

Steph Curry sank his 4,000th three tonight. Whoever runs the Valkyries' social media earned their pay tonight.
