I'm pretty sure the Times doesn't charge for wedding announcements. Any newspaper that charges people for content that's treated as editorial content is stupid. And I include my paper in that. It's one of the dumbest, most unethical things we do.

It's not uncommon for wedding announcements to show up in the paper a week or two later instead of the day after the wedding. Have you checked the paper since then?
