Baseball query for the SJ masses

I went to a game there once in the early 1980s, one of Terry Felton's losses en route to an infamous 0-16 major-league career. The worst thing was how hard it was to follow the ball because it blended into the faded turf.

Buffalo still had War Memorial Stadium at the time and that was a far, far better place to watch a game. The neighborhood, not so nice.

Which minor-league team played at that minor-league park?

That's Jarry Park, first home of the Expos before the Big Owe was built.

Can't see it in the picture but I seem to recall there being a swimming pool just over the right field fence. I vaguely remember shots of it on WGN when the Cubs played up there.

I know that's Le Stade Jarry, I was just wondering if F-B's point was that a minor league team had played there first.

According to the website I took that picture from it was a 3,000-seat municipal stadium that was expanded to host the Expos until they could moved into a domed stadium that was promised when Montreal was granted an expansion franchise.
