In all honesty, it varies. Go through phases. Was heavily into local Mass. IPA's last summer, avoid them now. Am back to Pilsner Urquell, which I abandoned a few years ago. And so on. But back to the wall, whatever's offered, I'm up for.
As Robert Parker had Spenser say once, "The worst beer I ever had was wonderful."

I know this thread has been done before, but.

Guinness. .. Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
I will do a Murphy's Stout occasionally, too, but don't like it quite the same.
We do Blue Moon sometimes during the summer. Orange slice and all, but I really only drink that when I am with Mrs. Ragu.
For sipping at home, if I don't have a Guinness poured (cans with the little pellets that add the fizz when you pop the tab WAY preferable to the bottles), we usually have a bunch of Yuenglings in the fridge. It is cheap and drinkable.

Depends on mood, weather/season, even time of day for me. Most often Guinness at bars, I suppose, but I'll go with something a little lighter -- Stella or a Sierra Nevada -- if I'm feeling bloated. If I'm traveling, I like to drink a local variety. I've been drinking some of the Flying Dog variations the last year or so, too -- Raging bench being my favorite among them. The label artist for Flying Dog, which moved from Colorado to Maryland, is the same guy who did book covers for Hunter Thompson:

When I'm in the US I go for Blue Moon.

50 is a man's beer (as is Molson Stock Ale and Brador). 50 doesn't reach its peak until its been sitting in the trunk of your car for three weeks in the middle of summer!

Love me some Labatt 50. Probably the first time I ever got drunk at a ballpark was in the bleachers at Parc Jarry with a group of Vermont friends in August '73 watching rookie phenom Steve Rogers pitch.

Any kind of hefeweizen, but UFO seems to have a really good hefeweizen. Add in a little lemon and yum. (even though my future father and law gives me crap about "fruit and beer" and how they shouldn't mix, but whatever). It's delicious.

50 was the first full beer I ever drank (Christmas of 1980 or something), prior to that I used to sneak swigs of the old man's Canadian.
