Cigars

I used to enjoy a good cigar particularly when I was in the islands, but now they just make me sick.

I prefer enjoying one with a cold beer in the shade of a palm tree.

I used to smoke a pipe on camping trips. I won't do it where anyone can see me. Love the smell.

My 20s were all cigar smoke and poker. Haven't had much of either since.

I limit myself to one stick per month, and that day is usually the highlight of the month. I have a great cigar lounge in my town, but one of the joys of homeownership has definitely been the ability to enjoy a Rocky Patel and two fingers of Macallan or Talisker in my own backyard.

Yes, a friend goes to Aruba every year and I trade him a bottle of Auchentoshan Three Wood for a box of Cubans. I wind up usually giving some to friends but I do have one every now and again. I'm hopeful that one every 3-4 months is not life threatening (my doc sure doesn't sound concerned).

My uncles used to smoke pipes and I loved that smell as well. Same with cloves, which I used to love in college in the 90s but I haven't seen those in years. Probably a good thing - I remember being told they were worse than cigarettes.
