The Economy

Trump's played the tariff card so much since he started round 2, said he's pulling them back, than started them again anyway. One, I don't know how customs people keep track (do they have a sign when they clock in to work for the enforcement people to keep track of what today's tariff situation is?) and Two, I'm guessing most foreign countries and corporations are just going to factor them in to what they are shipping no matter which side of the bed Trump wakes up on on a given day.

It's his latest version of "We'll have it in two weeks." Being vague is his calling card.

Our 16-year-old is in AP Government and Politics this year. During parent-teacher meetings, I said something about how it's got to be interesting teaching that class with all this stuff going on. The teacher said "Yeah, there have been a few times I had to come in and say 'Remember what we were talking about last week? Well, disregard that now.'"

We need a "yikes" emoji for things like this.

Your high schooler should enjoy that teacher -- and that class -- before it's banned.
