Columnist opening in Orlando

I don't even think Mrs. Dooley thinks he's hot. She was just desperate.

Why do people who use their real names on here say the most intelligent stuff? Coincidence?

Was about to go off on the absolute stupidity of that comment. Then checked out the source. Guess real names DO help.

Hey, I had the self-depracation thing going, Ace. You didn't need to leap in.

Couldnt resist. I know I could count on you to do the same.

Ace, I never make light of anything about you, like unfulfilled career goals or anything like that. Would never do that to you.

My talents may be hidden from certain papers, but at least my wife thinks I'm hot.

You are so off the Christmas card list.

Since I don't have time to scroll through all 12 pages, I'm keeping this brief.

This is a smart, smart hire by ESPN. Jemele Hill will appeal to the female audience, the minority audience and to the 20-something audience - all audiences that are ESPN targets.

And she'll do it without having to rant and scream like Woody Paige or boo-yah like Stuart Scott. That will be quite refreshing.

Jemele also will be a pleasant change when she makes the many TV and radio appearances that likely are part of the deal. This is about more than her writing.
