Nothing like waking up to see the news from Boca Raton that a small plane crashed at the intersection where my elementary school bus stopped for the railroad tracks every morning and afternoon. Of course, that was 54 years ago and a whole bunch of stuff has been built up around that little airport. But, damn, Glades Road/Military Trail/I-95 is less than 1/4 mile from my former house. We used to stand next to Glades Road and make the cement and gravel trucks honk their horns as they passed by.
