I like the idea for the sports front -- it's inviting, and there's enough white space to make it breathe -- but I think you'd be better served to pick one photo (the long jump is best) and use it as main art and complement your breakouts with the other shots.

Agreed, I found that really busy to look at and that long jump pic was really good. Unless you're going all the way to a photo spread, personally I think you have to pick a dominant piece of art and let it carry you.
