Don't pageant contestants always look older than they are? Like they are going for the Betty Draper look? Even after Gryetchen Carlson took over, it seems that a good chunk of state pageant people are resisting and fighting the changes in the program. One of those classic situations where an entity can either change with the times and stay relevant or resist change and slowly fade away.
