I thought this was an interesting read. The LAPD is corrupt as fork. Maybe he's crazy. Probably he's crazy. But he certainly seemed to be a good cop for a long time. A good cop surrounded by a lot of bad cops. And he wasn't afraid to turn in the bad cops.

If the US uses drones to kill him with no arrest and no trial, I'm going to be a lot more suspicious.

LEO drones don't carry armament. Surveillance only.

Border Patrol says drones aren't being used, contrary to widespread reports. Some British paper I've never heard of, the Daily Express, seems to be the originator of that story.
