An F-16 and a Cessna collided in flight in South Carolina, near Charleston.

Story says the F-16 pilot ejected safely. Guessing that won't turn out to be case for the Cessna pilot.

Hmm. I wonder what the altitude was.

I would assume the F16 pilot was returning to Charleston from a nearby MOA (Military Operations Area). The crash happened 11 miles outside Charleston AFB, which would put it right outside the AFB's Class C airspace.

Is it just me, or does playing freeze tag on I-95 seem safer than riding in one of these little private planes?
