Very good guess ... but no. I think the Split Enz song came less than a decade before Crowded House's first one ... I like both songs, by the way

Obviously no one knows my music tastes, but I can assure you that these are two songs that people have heard of.

It's not like Pachelbel's Canon in 1680, then something he did heading up Pachelbel's All Stars in 1690.
