One vote for Joe Garagiola, then?"Sale of the Century" was a darned fine show.
Mark Goodson/Bill Todman?I think Chuck more correctly belongs on Game Show Creator Rushmore, with Merv Griffin, Dan Enright and Bob Stewart.
Mark Goodson/Bill Todman?
They were producers. Bob Stewart created most of their biggest hits.
He was more talk show/entertainment host ala Mike Douglas and Merv Griffin, no?Art Linkletter.

Perhaps we should consider Don Francisco, then. Sabado Gigante lived up to its name in so many ways.dShows like 'House Party' and 'People are Funny' had lots of audience game play and prize elements.
Not surprising. The producer, John Guedel, also created 'You Bet Your Life.'
That show had everything. True 80s excess. New cars. Vacations. Summer Bartholomew in a swimsuit. The confident, dashing Jim Perry. Some trivia -- above Press Your Luck but not at the level of Jeopardy!
There was also the level of poker-like gambling within the game as well. Perry would "bribe" the contestants if they were ahead. "Can I buy... 20 points... but I'll give you... one... thousand dollars?"
