BTW, imagine going back to your car and finding a piece of whale blubber has caved in your roof. Try explaining that to the insurance company.
Not just any old car. That looked like an Oldsmobile Delta 88, a real road hog of that era. A whale of a car ruined by a whale, kind of ironic.
 
How many Whalers have wanted to do the same to Peter Karmanos?

(And yes ... this was the first time I had ever seen this. Nicely done. Few affiliates are capable of work at this level these days.)
 
The 1973 Delta 88 Royale sedan was truly a great road beast.
I drove my dad's all through high school. That car would go like heck.

Too bad it wasn't a Chrysler. And I met and talked to Dave Barry in 2005 and he was one of the nicest people.
