I've never heard of this paper and I've never heard of this douchebag columnist, but holy shirt.

Even Mark Whicker is saying, "Now that's a really bad idea for a column."

I'd like to say I'm shocked, but I'm really just wondering which SportsJournalists.com poster he is.

I just saw this. He really Left the Yard on this one.

How does an editor not talk him out of the blame the victim angle? Ye gads.

I'm trying to remember the last time I read a column like that and just had my jaw hit the table.

This column did produce an Internet first: The comments under a story on a newspaper's website make more sense than the story.

That's a perfect reaction.

Did you read the rest of his "quick hits?" Opining that an intramural team could do better than Butler--that's awesome! Original! Worthwhile reading!

On the bright side, his mustache makes him look like he should be the titular character in an early '80s cop show. Matt Houston, or something.

I think he plays the gay Cubs fan detective in The Lincoln Lawyer.

Very true. Great observation.
