Increasing your Twitter following

I've been trying to schedule tweets using TweetDeck, but can't seem to figure it out. My issue is I need to tweet something at 8:05 pm and need to tweet it again at 11:05 p.m. How can I do this without sending the tweet, then copying and pasting it to a scheduled tweet? Is there a way?
I don't know what the issue is, but it might stem from Tweetdeck not wanting to publish duplicate Tweets.

Try this: Schedule your 8:05 p.m. post. Alter a word or two/resequence the facts/whatever and scheduled it for 11:05 p.m.

Problem is I'm live tweeting a reality show (long story) that shows East Coast and then on West Coast. I'm just trying to get the tweets to line up so I don't have to stay up from 8-10 EST, write for an hour, Tweet 11-1, post story, bed.
