Mets spokesman Jay Horwitz broke his ankle Thursday in a fall outside a hotel. Spokeswoman Shannon Forde said Horwitz, with the Mets since 1980, will have surgery Monday.

Best news: The Mets have three weeks to realize that Jay doesn't do a single forking thing. His worst nightmare come to life. This is why he never misses work: Not b/c he has no life (which he doesn't) but b/c being there everyday doesn't give anyone time to figure out how forking useless he is.
