Double Down said:I'm starting to really buy into the inevitability of the Heat winning the title this year. Not that thrashing the Knicks says a lot, but to me, they look like a much more cohesive team than the were last year. LeBron is playing really good basketball this season. Not settling for stupid threes, and trying to attack, attack, attack as much as he can.

Why was this question asked in thread about Lin?

Because the NBA thread has 6 pages and no one reads it except for 8 people so when a thread develops that actually talks about the league, we sneak other NBA discussion in so the masses are forced to read it.
Also, is -sanity the new -gate?

It's amazing that some professional journalists need to be told not to use references to "driving," "eye shape," "fortune cookies," "martial arts," and especially:
"ME LOVE YOU LIN TIME": Avoid. This is a lazy pun on the athlete's name and alludes to the broken English of a Hollywood caricature from the 1980s.

In fairness, it's kind of hard not to talk about Lin driving the lane since it's the best part of his game.
One can do that without the "Look! Finally! An Asian who can drive!" references, which is what AAJA mentioned.
