To me, even though it was not a statistically amazing performance, James stepping up in the fourth quarter, when the game was tied, and turning it on to push the lead to 10 is more impressive than him scoring 45 but vanishing in the fourth quarter.

And Wade comes off as such a brick.
You actually believe he disappeared in the 4 th quarter in game 6? You really are Skip Bayless.

Just a reminder that according to 93/Skip it is obvious -- and has been for quite some time -- the Heat isn't good enough to win.

What in the heck point are you trying to make Devil, what does a football thread have to do with the ridiculous claim that you would have traded Lebron James 25 games into his Heat career?

That I made a comment, which a lot of you think is wrong and are still railing me over, that has not played out yet - just like the Eli and Giant comments which a lot of people were so freaking wrong about, but we don't pull those old posts up.

When Bosh, James and Wade were formed, if I would have posted that success for this group would have been losing a couple NBA Finals, this place would have gone off the rails once again. Now they might win it all this year, but I think it was obvious early in the formation of this group, that they were not good enough to win an NBA title. Last year they had a less than dominant foe in the Finals and could not pull a win off. This year it seems like they will not get a really strong team to go against them until the Finals, if they make it that far. If they do not win it this year, there chance of winning it all becomes less and less each year as James and Wade age and Durant and Westbrook mature.

They still have not won it.

Agreed. But is it obvious they are not good enough? Really?

What a great matchup though... Arguably the classiest player in the league vs. the most hated player in the league...

Should be a fun series...

That's actually an interesting comparison. Because you are comparing the way one person actually IS (or seems to be) versus the completely irrational feelings of others toward another player.

I would say they can arguably be considered two of the classiest players in the league, and some people are just too willfully ignorant to accept it.

I'm not saying that it is fair or justified that LeBron is hated the way he is, but I don't think too many would argue he's the most hated player in the league.

You are really over thinking Battier vs Westbrook.

Well done.

you stay classy, L'Bron

If Miami had that much trouble with Boston, I don't see how they are going to handle OKC.

As much as Durant *should* be the guy for OKC in any situation, I can't help but wonder if Westbrook won't be the one who decides who wins.

If Miami couldn't guard Rondo, howTF is it going to cover Westbrook? Or Harden for that matter?
