That is correct, I am talking about the Princeton-grad and current Padre. The dumbest pick, hands down, of our league was one guy taking Dan Uggla in the FIFTH round! BTW, he doesn't have a single pitcher that will sniff 200 K's.

But he DOES have a second-baseman who will...

Other notable picks of this team: Ryan Zimmerman - 4th, Tom Glavine - 9th, Ivan Rodriguez - 13th (with Piazza still on the board), Mark DeRosa - 14th, Javier Vazquez - 15th, Casey Blake - 18th and Jeff Suppan - 21st. I don't think any of these picks are defendable.

BTW, I realize Yovani Gallardo is starting in the minors, but I've heard that he is practically guaranteed to be promoted around late-April, early-May. Lincecum looks very promising, but could be a closer if Brian Wilson doesn't get his act together.

You guys want sleepers? These two have gone completely Rip Van Winkle on everyone & both are in the Brewers organization: RHPs Yovanni Gallardo and Carlos Villanueva. Villanueva has incredible stats at three levels last year, including with Milwaukee AND is lights-out in ST (for whatever that's worth). Gallardo is probably the stud nobody is talking about, with all the buzz going to Hughes, Bailey, and Miller.

Yovani Gallardo is in the minors.

Is Tim Lincecum in the minors, too?

I can't find that confirmed anywhere in print.

Rotoworld sucks balls? It's by far the most current site on the Net. And all free (though the Draft Guide is well worth the few bucks).

I think Linecum is headed for the minors, but he seems like a Grade-A stud in the making.

Depends what kind of league you're in. In a 5x5 rotisserie with around 15 teams, Uggla in the fourth/fifth round is defensible -- unless you're predicting a dramatic dropoff. Add up his hits, HRs, runs, RBI and SBs -- only Utley had a greater total among 2Bs, and it's a long way to third place. Plus, hitting between Hanley and Cabrera, he probably won't fall off much. Probably.
