Paging Frank Ridgeway: Shirt and tie without a jacket?

This thread has me second-guessing my recent impulse purchase of an argyle codpiece.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Thank you for a solid 30 minutes of tear-jerking laughter. The Ridgeway-Ragu pissing contest is in my top 10.

I've had a long day and certainly needed that.

Nothing looks better without a necktie than a well-tailored CWU 27/P flight suit in Sage Green.

What is appropriate attire for my humanitarian efforts such as taking kids to the planetarium?
Good question, I don't know what proper attire would be for the planetarium.
If it were me, taking my date to the planetarium, I'd go with a nice pair of slacks with a button-down oxford and a sweater vest.
Some men can rock the sweater vest, some can't.

OK, so what IS a sack cut?

I posted a picture of a sack suit from Brooks Bros. on page 7 of this thread.
Can I take kids to the planetarium if I've never told people I wanted to go to medical school?

I'll take you to a planetarium someday.
We should definitely do it.
But I prefer planetariums in urban settings.

I assume you, too, trip for your trips, Buck?
