I am about to be a junior in college and I am majoring in Mass communications, obtaining my degree in Journalism. I am hoping that one day I will be able to become a high profile sports journalist, as I assume some of you all wish to do. I have an assignment that is due for class, we have to research the career field in which we want to persue after college and interview a person who is already in that field. I am hoping that someone on this site will be able to help me and explain to me the entirety of the job and their likes and dislikes and also the advantages and disadvantages you may come accross.

PURSUE.
And I'll help you if I can do it as Moderator1. Others on here will be able to give you their full names.

Actually it's due on Tuesday and I have tried to contact sports journalist around my area and some surrounding areas yet have failed to receive a response... And I'm female not male... Thanks =)

NO response? These kind of requests are not uncommon and I would guess most of us get them from time to time. Hard to believe someone would flat out ignore you. That sucks.

Do remember this: We take our speling and grammur very seriously around here.

I am not sure if I can use a moderator for this interview, my teacher never made it clear as to how we had to go about obtaining the information. Sorry if my writing is not grammatically correct or error free, my intent is to receive an answer to my question or possibly some assistance, not to impress people on here with my writing skills. Also I am kind of in a panic right now and would really like to finish this project so I am not taking the time to make sure that the questions that I ask are in proper form

See, you can do it.

Send me your contact information via PM, I'll see what I can do to help.

KB8,

Moderator1 is a sports journalist and a very good one. He'll be a great interview subject for you. Good luck on your project!

advice: don't do it. in 5 years we'll all be slinging html coding.
pros: quick advancement. no one wants to make 22k writing college softball stories just outside the middle of nowhere.
cons: you make 22k writing college softball stories just outside the middle of nowhere.
