Quickest way to do HS football stats

I swear by DigitalScout on my phone, had a nice deal going with the app producers last year. Since I am not covering any football this year I didn't try to get it going again

I have an iPad and I use the iScore app. It was a one-time purchase of $9.99 and I've been using it for a couple of seasons now. I like it because I get real-time stats on the app and it computes all the long yardage plays in an instant.

Only pain about it is having to input rosters before the game. If you cover just one or two teams, it's OK. But if you have 15-20 teams that you cover, it is frustrating.

But once they're in, they're in. And once you get the hang of operating the program, it's pretty sweet. But you have to stay on your toes.

Totally agree with that. I have covered probably 9 of the 13 schools in our immediate area, so I have a little more than half of our rosters inputted into the app.

After using the app, and watching other reporters struggle with keeping up with play-by-play, I wonder how I ever managed to get the PBP and stats done.
