Random Thoughts the Third

My dad and my uncle rode horses to school, as did many kids who lived in the country. They all grew up riding. I rode quite a bit as a kid. None of us wore a cowboy hat.

Now, at the saddle club shows (kinda like a mini rodeo writ small) folks did, especially the ladies doing the barrel race. My dad’s drunk ass in the pickup race did not.

That's kinda cool.
So, how were the horses cared for during school? Did the school have a place for them to roam around? Did they need to feed or water them during the day?
 
Well, he's been dead for years and I don't remember if he ever said what they did with them.
 
I remember when beef jerky used to be an every man's snack, and now it's $10 for just a few ounces.
 
I really hate going to what should be an adult establishment (brewery) and there are a bunch of dang kids running around yelling and screaming when I just want to chill. When you choose to spawn, you chose to exclude yourself from certain activities for an amount of time. The rest of us didn't choose to have our lives disrupted. In fact, many of us chose not to have the life we live by children.
Take them do Dave & Buster's or Chuck E. Cheese.
