Random Thoughts the Third

I wish all my favorite bands released all their music as instrumental versions. As I get older there are days I just want to read to something without words. In the streaming era, it would be easy to do.

I'm looking especially at you War on Drugs.
 
If I see a guy wearing a cowboy hat east of about Beaumont or Tulsa, I naturally assume he's a jackass.
 
This morning, I think I saw the most "LOOK AT ME" jogger in all my life.

Two minutes before our small town Christmas parade is to start, this guy goes jogging down Main street - along the parade route and where people were all on the sidewalks waiting for the parade to start. Whole bit - marching shirt and shorts, ear buds, etc.

That is "LOOK AT ME IM JOGGING EVEN THOUGH IT'S AN ICE STORM" times at least 1,000.

What an asshole.

Some kid (heck, an adult) should have nailed him with a snowball.
 
Since I stepped away from the Politics thread, I feel better. Not "much" better, just better. I still can't avoid all politics, but I'm not getting irrationally (or rationally) angry every day. I'm a little bit nicer, and I don't go looking to feel bad. It's been good for me and will continue.

Although I do find myself searching and hoping someone has posted in the motorsports or one of the weather threads.
