RIP Bob Uecker

In tears as I type this. I just had a bad feeling listening to him sign off from the Game 3 heartbreaker that he might not see Opening Day and he just called his last game. You could tell it in his voice.

I have more to say about what Bob meant to my childhood. I'll post it later.

Sixteen days in and I already hate 2025.

I read his book Catcher in the Wry as a junior high kid and always wanted to visit Craters of the Moon, Idaho.

RIP to an authentically funny guy.

I turn 50 this year and it was a long time, like a really long time before I ever knew he did games on the radio. It may not have been until I got an XM radio, started scanning through games one night and … huh, that's Bob Uecker! And he's good at this! And it isn't a full-time comedy routine.
