RIP Ella

Sorry, Moddy. We all know how much you two loved each other.

I keep my old dogs' tags in my wallet. The last one I had to put down was my last beagle, when my son was a baby.

I've already started dreading that time for my current dog, even through he's only 5, since he's the one who is growing up with my kids and they're perfect for each other.

He's currently running around the house with a Naruto headband around his neck while chasing my 9-year-old, who's also pretending to be a ninja.
Last dog we had was only a part-timer. We'd sit her while its person was out of town on business. We now use her name as our wifi password, so I figure she's still running aruond the house, at least until we change ISPs.

Don't know the background of your story, but offer sincere condolences.
I'm probably done with pets. Buried two within a year at family farm.

Lost all three coda kitties in 18 months, all in agonizing fashion. We're probably done, too.
