Some didn't even recognize him initially, but they came into his orbit because of the air of fame around him. A woman whom Jeremy is charged with sexually assaulting when she was 15 in 2004 said she approached him at a rave he was hosting in Santa Clarita, California.
"I didn't know who he was, but I just — everyone told me he was famous so I was excited to meet a celebrity," said the woman, now 33, known as Jane Doe 5.
How stupid is this? I mean, drop the hammer fast and hard on Ron Jeremy, who is a pig and also an ugly, sleazy and demented pig at that, but ... how forking stupid were these girls and women, too?
"Oh, come on, Ashley. Sure, he's short and greasy and ugly,
but they said he's a CELEBRITY! Right here in our town!!!"
"Well, OK, since he bought us the drinks.
What could go wrong with this fat little toad?"

So they are stupid and 15 and they wanted to "meet a celebrity."
If it happened the way that story says, nope, there is still no reason why the girl should have expected him to lift her in the air out of nowhere, put his hand under her skirt and molest her.

Just six weeks before Ron Jeremy's trial on multiple rape charges is scheduled to start, a judge this morning hit the pause button so the ex-porn star could receive psychiatric evaluations.
The results of the duo of evaluations ordered by LA Superior Court Judge George Lomeli will be examined in a mental health hearing on April Fool's Day and then followed up at another hearing on April 19. After listening to lawyers and court officials calling the accused "incoherent" at today's early morning session, the judge said that he hoped "evaluations done by a psychiatrist on each side regarding the issues of competency" would bring clarity to Jeremy's true mental condition and the trajectory of the case.
In the latest indictment of last summer, Jeremy is facing 33 rape and sexual assault counts from L.A. County D.A. George Gascón's office. Similar to the previous set charges of October 2020, the 2021 indictment involves 21 individuals. Those claims go back to when Bill Clinton was President and up to 2013, according to prosecutors. The ages of the alleged victims range from 15-51, the indictment says.
Being held in downtown's Twin Towers Correctional Facility since his June 2020 arrest, Jeremy faces literally hundreds of years behind bars if found guilty.
Originally set to address a defense motion to split the case against Jeremy up into 21 separate trials, today's hearing in DTLA took a very different turn when attorney Stuart Goldfarb described a recent conversation with his 69-year old client. "He was unable to determine who I was and wouldn't accommodate both myself and the bailiff to fit into the wheelchair to come down here," the defense lawyer said.
Jeremy has plead not guilty to all the charges. That did not change today.

Former porn king Ron Jeremy is in such poor health that he will now be released to a "private residence," less than a year after he was formally declared incompetent to stand trial on more than 30 counts of sexual assault.
Jeremy, who is suffering from dementia and was placed under a conservator earlier this year, has been in Men's Central Jail in downtown L.A. for months while awaiting assignment to a state medical facility. But on Friday, a judge granted a request to release the 70-year-old to a private residence where he will receive "round the clock medical care" after it was determined that "no medical facility will take him," according to an email obtained by The Times.
The email, written to victims in Jeremy's criminal case by Los Angeles County Deputy Dist. Atty. Paul Thompson, noted that Jeremy's "medical condition has deteriorated to the point that he is essentially bedridden." Thompson cited public safety concerns in objecting to the motion to release Jeremy, which was filed on the defendant's behalf by the county Office of the Public Guardian, but was overruled, the email said.
Thompson declined to be interviewed and Jeremy's conservator declined to comment. A spokesperson for the public guardian, which is part of the L.A. County Department of Mental Health, was not immediately available for comment Friday.
