Running 2017-18 NBA regular season thread

Have to respectfully disagree. Both were awful. But (and I won't post a picture) go back and look at Paul George's injury if you'd like.

They're both similar things, the Tibia snaps in two. But my guess is Hayward's will end up being the more serious injury, if only because of the location of the snap.

Hayward's break is significantly lower than George's, near the ankle, much closer to other joints, bones and ligaments. That's a far more complicated neighborhood.

AP had photos of the dislocated ankle, but I chose not to run them ... wonder how many papers did the same. I think the words "gruesome injury" is enough for readers. No real need to see it in print. If you want to seek it out, you can.
