Running license plate thread

We play a 12-month license plate game every year...from whenever we go on vacation in July until whenever we leave for vacation the following July, We have never seen Wyoming. So thanks for the big tease here, @micropolitan guy!!! :D It's the only one we're missing right now. I showed the pic to my wife and asked if it counts. She said no. Speaking of my wife...she scolds me every time I pick up my phone while driving, but she made sure to pick up her phone while driving to take a picture of Hawaii a few weeks ago.

I add an extra layer to the game by trying to identify the state's capital. I did a states project in elementary school, which remains on the short list of the most useful things I ever did in school. What's cooler than random state capitals? I like shouting "JEFFERSON CITY!!!" when we see Missouri and "CARSON CITY!!!!" when we see Nevada. The only ones I've missed this year are West Virginia (why would I say Wheeling?) and Oregon (I said Eugene and wanted extra credit for not saying Portland, but my aforementioned wife wanted nothing to do with that). I've tripped up on St. Paul and Santa Fe in the past and remember those now b/c the former is where the Twins' AAA affiliate plays and the latter is usually the car we're driving on trips.
Do you get dinged if you don't pronounce South Dakota's capital city correctly?

I saw a Hawaii plate on I-4 near Tampa over the weekend. Now that's far from home. My best guess would be someone in the military who was transferred to Central Command in Tampa or the naval officers' school in Orlando.

It's not unusual to see Alaska plates or even western Canada ones at our RV park near Bradenton. Everybody wants to get warm at some point.
