Guess it's better than bugs.

Yep. Bugs are musty tasting and crunchy in all the wrong ways.

Tastes like chicken.

Well, sort of. I thought the rattlesnake I had tasted like a cross between chicken and frog legs. A friend who has eaten gator says it's closer to that.

Shot placement is the key. I've taken them with everything from a 9mm to a .44 to a .243 to a .270. The .223 is probably the most common hog round.

.308 Winchester and .30-06 will do the job, too.
