SNL's Continued Downward Spiral Thread

Serviceable episode. Some good absurd stuff. Liked the NYC "viral" line bit. Update was pretty good. Solid but not anything super memorable.

Catching up with the post-Update content -- not clamoring to go back to the episode any time soon, but I did enjoy the Destroy boys' SpongeBob film. Reminded me of the film SNL did a little while ago on Oscar the Grouch and the Sesame characters.

Thought the animated short was the best thing of the night. Cold open seemed to write itself. Update was good. But yes, the sketches all seemed recycled.
Morgan Wallen didn't seem that interested in being there either. Gave two tepid performances of two tepid songs. Guy might think about mixing in a melody, it was like he was reading texts he sent to an old girlfriend.

Normal, for him. Posted an Irish farewell at the end, too.
