But nothing will ever top the iconic moment of Farley on wires getting caught up in the Update backdrop. The cheesy special effects of SNL always have made me laugh over the years — including the very visible wires and the closing shot of crew members wrangling them on that bedroom skit. The fake dog hands playing the bass guitar and paper mache eagle also had me chuckling last night.
I keep thinking he'll bust out into "Sprockets."I really want to like Mike Myers as Elon, but it really is a weak combination of Austin Powers with Myers' man child on a leash character, Phillip.
Miss Eggy get Ego over like never before ... she was amazing, Che and Jost just lost it for realI'd say it was the best featuring (minimal) stunt casting, like a 5-timers or Christmas show. The writing was nuts. The Cheetos/Prep H ad? I don't know if one or both of them chipped in for that spot, but it was worth the money. Weekend Update was phenomenal. Glad I think, we'll see more of Ngwodim's Miss Eggy since Lisa from Temecula left with Punkie Johnson. The First Play had its moments, but mostly the cast seemed energized and having fun throughout.
