From journalismjobs.com:

The Duncan Banner, a six-day daily, is seeking an energetic, hands-on sports editor who can continue our award-winning tradition. The Banner is located in southwest Oklahoma, within easy driving distance of Oklahoma City and Dallas. The ideal candidate will be personally productive in writing, photography and layout while understanding and embracing our need to cover the full range of sports from youth to adult recreational leagues. We cover it all with our two-person team. Resumes should be sent to Floyd Jernigan, publisher, via email at fjernigan@cnhi.com or to the above at the Duncan Banner, P.O. Box 1268, Duncan, Okla., 73534-1268.

My, where do we start with the red flags?

Edit: Missed a big honking one at the end.

Where's jgmacg when you need him?

Wow, just saw the guy that had the job at a playoff game last Friday, I wonder what happened? I hope to see someone from the paper at a game tonight, so maybe my questions will be answered.

As for the job, I have but four simple letters to describe it....

C
N
H
I

You're just a stones throw from Lawton though, considered one of the worst towns in the state to be in after dark. Just ask the Jenks football team.

However, since I am born and raised from there, it's not that bad to me. Gunfire is a nice thing to listen to when you are ready to get some sleep. J/K
