Didn't we see action in the FA Cup win over Spurs?

That's actually a good example of what I'm talking about. Nate takes over after Ted panics, makes the calls on what to run and then they cut away to Ted and Rebecca while Richmond goes on to win. They don't show the winning play, just the post-game celebration and Nate's interview.

They did show more action of that game than most, but it was basically all first-half as they set up Jamie's return to form with "the signal."

Pretty funny that Nate the Great goes from picking up towels with sweaty butt stains to manager of West Ham in 2 seasons.

Don't know anything about West Ham but maybe there's a joke in there somewhere.

Same reason Josh McDaniels got hired as a head coach by the Denver Broncos: You think you're getting the brains behind the operation. Turns out, you're probably getting someone who lacks the emotional maturity for the gig. I expect he'll have a McDaniels-like tenure with the Hammers: He'll soar early, but his tirades and his inability to accept anything less than perfect execution of his tactics will lead players to tune him out and he will crash thoroughly. I expect he'll avoid the whole videotape-the-opponent-walkthrough thing, but who knows?

I get more of my fill of the whole supervillain/hero trope with the Marvel Universe, so I'm a little worried about the vibe at the end of the finale.

And I don't like Rupert or the new Nate and would rather their roles be diminished.

I also hope that the billionaire from Ghana leaves Sam alone and doesn't jack with Sam's new venture or the billionaire might just become some sub supervillain.

I think that there are plenty of material in the inner struggles of characters and their relationships to be explored before the show devolves into a big comic book.
