That weird paper in the newsracks is now the U.S's fourth largest newspaper.


Seriously, it's a lot concerting to me to see how many "olds" (born before 1950) get a free copy of the Epoch Times somehow and decide to subscribe because they're used to reading dead trees. And they don't give the content a second thought.

My mother called me when a free one came in the mail. I had to explain that it was propaganda and not to waste money on a subscription. But several people in our winter RV park get it, and I'm certain they believe every story in there because "it's in the paper!"

They only need to hit a few gullible people every week to keep their operation going. It's a more expensive version of those "You're Going to heck" religious pamphlets that pop up in public toilets, except this one is "You're Going to heck If You Don't Vote For the Religious Right."
