THIS IS CNN: Don Lemon goes berserker on Kaitlan Collins

I've watched CNN's morning shows for years. Kaitlan has been itching for this chance to work the desk. She's strong and assertive, and then some.

Might not be the best pairing but I wouldn't separate them just yet.

As for Don ... he was solid 3-4 years ago but something happened with him the last year or two.
Lost his NYE drinking buddy when Brooke Baldwin left the network?

When Lemon and Cuomo took up telling each other
"I love you" at the 9 p.m. switchover, well, that did it for me.

Hey, great, you're bestest buddies.
And apparently a two-man support group.
It's not the nightly news, though.

CNN has tinkered with its morning show for years without success
The main problem is the CNN format takes away any personality
Fox & Friends has a personality
So does Today
Even Joe & Mika, though theirs is annoying
And when CNN makes its next move it'll just be changing deck chairs on the Titanic again

Again, only conservative media covering this yuge morning show blowup.

Is she the one leaking all this stuff?

Hmm.

"screamed"

"snapped"

"she's not the problem"

"insiders say"

If I ran CNN's talent team, the #1 duo would be John Berman and Abby Phillip.

I would go cartoonishly over the top. What does cable TV news have to lose at this point? Dignity?
