Twitter is AWESOME

You're right. I do find them great when covering high school football in the state of Texas. There are a lot of small newspapers and radio stations, especially in East and West Texas that are very helpful.

Here's an idea for an enterprising SJer:

Do a book called "The Year In Twitter." Keep track of all the stupid tweets and all the "news flash" Tweets that turn out to be complete Bullspit. (Like recently someone Tweeting the Georgia QB had broken his ankle in 2 places; turns out it was sprained.)

Why do you think I started this running thread?

And the Will Hill twitter feed is the best so far, and its not even close.
