Where is Hannah?

Mom knew about the scam marriage before Hannah left.
Hannah Kobayashi's mother found documents connected to her daughter's marriage to an Argentinian man shortly before her bizarre disappearance in Los Angeles

They shirt on the LAPD throughout.
Well okay, I stand corrected. Don't fool the people/person trying to help you. That works in the legal arena too, one of my first rules is "don't play fool the attorney because I can't help you then."

Mom knew right from the beginning that her daughter was a scammer, and chose to make it sound like she had been involuntarily abducted.

I assume the green card scam means she marries, they come back, he gets a green card, and she gets money. That would mean her intent is to come back with a sham husband, no?

She was flying to New York with a boyfriend. I'm assuming that was the guy who needed the green card, but you're right -- she may have been going to Mexico for the sham husband.

A family member said Hannah and the boyfriend had broken up and were going to New York because they had already booked the trip. Plus, the boyfriend made the flight to New York.

Is she happy now, seeing that her dad gave up his search and took his life?

What a horrible price to pay for the family.
Listen up, kids: Actions have consequences.
