Can't wait to see how NBC starts spinning ND games. "The mystique is back! The Irish score to pull within 21 here in the fourth quarter..."

Quick work.ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Notre Dame sophomore quarterback Demetrius Jones did not travel with the team to Michigan and possibly has transferred from the school.
Several clues suggest that Jones, who started Notre Dame's season opener Sept. 1, has transferred to Northern Illinois. The NIU online phone directory lists a student with the same full name -- Demetrius Armond Jones -- and the Chicago zip code matching the South Side neighborhood where Jones lives.

Exactly. I thought it was pretty cowardly of Weis to cave in because the asshole students were chanting for Claussen. From the pre-season refusal to name a starter, to waffling on Jones and the constant media meltdowns, I wouldn't be surprised if Weis unravels by season's end.
To losing his lawsuit to being indirectly implicated in this Patriots cheating scandal. The bloom has fallen clean off Charlie Weiss' rose.

Indirectly implicated in the Patriots scandal?
How?
Not sure exactly what proof Zimmerman has, but he doesn't sound like he's just making a guess.Marinelli was the defensive line coach in Tampa Bay when the Bucs beat the Patriots in the 2000 regular season opener and did a good job controlling New England's offense. After the game the Patriots' offensive coach, Charlie Weis, was overheard congratulating the Bucs' defensive coordinator, Monte Kiffin.
"We knew all your calls, and you still stopped us," Weis said. "I can't believe it."
He couldn't believe it because the Patriots had videotaped all of the defensive signals in their last preseason game, which was against the Bucs.

Eagleboy said:What I can't understand is how he leaves the team on a Friday and is suddenly enrolled at another university Saturday with the intention of playing the next season for NIU. Call me slow, but he would have had to organized this well in advance, no?
And if so, how was this not reported until he all of a sudden disappeared?
Nope, am thinking he watched that game going "I could have done better."hockeybeat said:Think he had a smile on his face today while watching his ex-mates get stomped at The Big House?
