Assuming it hasn't already appeared in your paper, where will the Bob Knight story go tonight?

Brief or nothing, unless you're in Lubbock or Bloomington.

Wrongo. If you're anywhere in Big Ten or Big 12 country, this resonates.

It's a brief. Just because ESPN is hyperventilating over it/setting this agenda doesn't mean everyone else needs to follow in its steps.

Brief for sure, Knight is the forking man. The story needs to be: Why is Knight the only coach in America slapping players? It's a gosh darn shame more coaches are not like him. I'd let my son play for him any day of the week.

Knight was all anyone was talking about in my era. Agenda-setting or not, he's big where I am.

It won't be the lead story on the cover, because it will be old news by tomorrow, but it will be there.

Funny you say that. Me and the SE said the same thing tonight: These players wouldn't be at Tech under Knight if a) the player didn't think he could play for him and b) the parents had a problem with Knight's past.

Now, where did it go in our section? More than a brief, but not much more.
