Your Top 25 Music Videos

* Call Me Al, Paul Simon
* Take on Me, A'Ha
* Out of Touch, Hall and Oates
* Sledgehammer, Peter Gabriel
* Thriller, Michael Jackson
* Money for Nothing, Dire Straits
* Memory Remains, Metallica
* November Rain, G&R
* Cry, Godley and Cream
* Don't Come Around Here No More, Tom Petty
* Dancing in the Dark, Bruce (gotta love a young Courtney Cox)

I contemplated "You Can Call Me Al" and "Dancin' In The Dark," but neither video had anything great about them. Yeah, Chase and Simon playing off each other was funny, but it was still dull -- kinda like the last skit on an SNL episode.

And concert videos, like "Dancin' In The Dark" need some sort of historical significance to make them great. Does the launching of Courtney Cox's career really make it historically significant? I don't think, and as Huggy said, Rosalita was Springsteen's best concert video.

AND Kids Bop!

Benatar's "You Better Run" video established her persona to a generation. Just her "don't fork with me" facial expressions.

And "Borderline" was a great "meet Madonna" video. Got her name on everyone's lips real quick.

I loved "Shadows of the Night" and "Love is a Battlefield" a lot more. Though she looked great, the video was just OK.

No love for Jessica Simpson washing the car in that pink bikini?

Well, if you're looking for pure cheesecake, there's the girl that Huey Lewis DIDN'T get in the video "If This Is It." He wound up with a blonde who wasn't bad herself, but the brunette he was fighting with ... whoa.

Better than the video.

The Big Me video was good, but I hated the song with a passion of a thousand million billion fiery suns with hemmrhoids. The only FF single I can think of that I didn't dig or at least tolerate.

Hats off to recognizing "Land of Confusion." That top 100 videos deal didn't so much as sniff it ... and that was wrong, my obvious bias aside. For those of you who have seen "Jesus, He Knows Me," that was funny. No telling how strange a trio of Brits thought that was when they originally tuned in to a Sunday morning broadcast ... a worthy choice.

"Sledgehammer" was no surprise, but "Shock The Monkey" was from Pete. Among the other no-brainers - without delving into a Top 25 list: Take On Me, Thriller, Billie Jean and Jeremy.
