Great question. Hospital, but not by as big a margin as you would think. Jail had killer fresh-baked cakes and cookies.
Louder at night? The hospital. They're moving people in and out and all the alarms are beeping. Plus, there's no "official" phlebology tech in jail who comes by at 5 a.m. to poke a syringe in your arm. You do have to watch for the unexpected shiv, however.
Surprisingly, I didn't find the hospital bed to be very comfortable. Sort of like an airplane seat, where you eventually wind up in the same spot on the cushion where everybody else has been, because you have to bend at the same spot as the bed bends when you raise or lower it. However, better than a corrugated paper mattress on a steel rack.
My apologies for not updating this.
The pathology report came back perfect. No malignant cells in the margins or lymph node. Bladder leak check was excellent, other than the ashistant didn't get the collection bag back on tight and I covered the x-ray table in solution before she could plug the tube. Catheter came out that same morning. (Oof, that's not a great feeling, and I feel for those of you who have experienced that.)
I'm healing up well. I've even taken the putter out to the golf course twice just to walk around and keep active. Not allowed to pick up anything heavier than my computer!
Thanks for the kind thoughts.

I just spent 3 days in the hospital following a procedure to remove tumors from my bladder. Probable bladder cancer. Anyway, I wore my Airbuds every night with low volume music. The noise cancellation and the music made it possible to sleep at night.Great question. Hospital, but not by as big a margin as you would think. Jail had killer fresh-baked cakes and cookies.
