My wife rarely looks at SJ, but she liked that thread having laughed her way through the first "50 Shades of Grey" book. Thankfully we haven't seen the movie.

Care Bear was a god on that thread. For that thread alone, she's on the Mount Rushmore of women our dumb asses have run off of this site. And we're the worse for it.

I think the problem is most folks think they are 0% responsible, and/or have some amazingly unfounded belief that they are going to change someone's opinion on the Internet.

Not singling you out LTL. It's a bit widespread.

That said, I'm reminded of a couple of other recent things (past 5 years) that made me laugh a bit:
