NFL Week 4 -- Damn, even Rock Reed scored against the Lions

Super late, but this rule is a direct result of the NFL's rule, when it instituted Thursday night games in the first 16 weeks in 2012, that every team must play in at least one nationally televised game in a season. The Lions get out of this by having the Thanksgiving game, but for example, there were four different Titans-Jaguars TNF games in a six-year span from 2014-19.

It's a literal write-off game.
Gee ... but what if it's actually a good game, with good quarterback play on both sides, few turnovers, few penalties, comes down to a walk-off score?

There's no one left in America that thinks Urbey is anything more than a lying, faithless lech. It's funny to look at but it's meaningless. As for his wife, Urbey is who she thought he is, no surprises. After all these years, she knows, it's an informed decision to be Mrs Urbey.
For all the bullcrap he's laid on the teams he coached in the past (quitting UF twice, covering up for scumbag Zach Smith at Ohio State, hiring racist strength coach with the Jags), this is the first issue anyone's ever discovered of this kind. And there are a lot of camera phones out there.

By the way ... as of 6:23 p.m. EDT, the WWL had posted zero news on the Meyer video.

He people who like him are the same dullards who believe the big lies and that sort of political talk. The holier than thou attitude works with the small petty people

The penalty on the Steelers for roughing is why the QBs today can't be compared to the QBs of previous eras. Brady can play this long because he didn't get crushed after a throw. He and Rogers can stand in the pocket knowing they aren't getting trucked. There's no happy feet because they can't be hit. Brady and rogers are freaks of accuracy, but 10 years of getting hit hard after releasing the ball will change them.

Yup. Watt was also held on his way to Rodgers, but no call.

The Packers can put up 50 today if they want. The Steelers' defense is gassed. The terrible penalty on the blocked kick return and Roethlisberger missing on pass after pass has to be taking the heart out of them. Also, Green Bay's offense is damn good.

Trey Lance era begins in San Francisco. Comes when the rest of the team is falling apart but now QB question will overshadow the rest of it.

Ravens were sitting on 97 rushing yards for the game when they intercepted a pass in the end zone against Denver with 3 seconds left, up 23-7. They ran a QB sweep with Lamar Jackson instead of taking a knee and gained five yards to finish at 102.
That ties the 1970s Steelers for most consecutive games with at least 100 rushing yards, with 43.
