NFL Week 17 -- Are We There Yet?

A-Aron went from one of the most likable athletes out there to whatever he is now.

Bullshirt. He was always unlikeable :) .

I did think, for a while, that maybe it was his family, not him, that were total assholes. Maybe they are too, but now we know for sure QAron is batshirt. And making it worse, he thinks he's sooper dooper smart.

"Guys wide open" meaning ineligible receivers? Yes.

Guys wide open like receivers? No.

Yes, I've considered that risk and I still consider covering an ineligible man to be stupid, and I'm still stunned that a defence is getting chided for leaving him open.

It doesn't really matter if they didn't figure it out until after the play was over. That 15 seconds changes nothing.
They didn't cover him because they were fooled, not because they thought he was ineligible.

One thing I bet comes out of all this is, they just go ahead and ban the tackle eligible play, as is the rule in high school: if you wear 50-79, you're ineligible -- case closed.

Never! Watching big dudes awkwardly running and grabbing a pass in their giant meat paws is one of the pure joys of football.

You mean like at every other level of football except the NFL? What a concept!

He's smart. Just not as smart as he thinks he is.

Not playoff-related, but A-Ron accused Jimmy Kimmel of being on Jeffery Epstein's client list.

I'm curious to see if McAfee gets some fallout at work over this. Kimmel's show is on ABC and he's a heck of a lot more valuable to the company than McAfee.

I suspect A-aron's regular audience with McAfee may be history.

Which of course would play right into QAaron's hands and allow him to play the victim of the big bad media complex. He's such an insufferable, unintelligent idiot.

Maybe, but I'm sure ESPN knew what they were getting when they hired McAfee, including his relationship with Rodgers. It's not like you can expect McAfee to keep people from using his show to say inappropriate things. Given that yinzer's lack of filter, they should know better.
