Running 2023-24 NCAA Basketball Thread

I wanted to make it until the end but predictably fell asleep in the second half. Game went sort of how I expected it to. OSM was already up on YouTube this morning so I watched it then.

It was supposed to be 2 1/2 minutes of Caitlin Clark highlights, but there was five seconds of dead air at the end because somebody measured wrong.

I've spent more than a few minutes searching - even watched the end of ESPNs post-game on ESPN plus - didn't see anything. Not saying they should use the same song, but...the women try just as hard. Seems like an obvious thing to me...

Anyone seen a one shining moment for the women's tourney?

The effort this year was...predictable.
Of course it's predictable. That's sort of the idea, right? A warm and fuzzy look back. We all knew the "shooting star" was going to be Gohlke, right? We knew there would be a bunch of smiling D.J. Burns shots. We knew we'd see Yale and Colorado celebrating, Edey dominating, Knecht, Newton, etc. That's what the whole feature is all about -- the stuff everyone remembers.

I will say the one shot I expected to see but didn't was Heide's insane dunk in the final.
