I agree; however, unless you were of the chosen who grew up listening to one of the golden trio of announcers in Knoxville, Athens or Tuscaloosa, I can understand why listening to radio calls doesn't have the same nostalgic allure.It is far easier for me to be "in the moment" with just a radio call than if I am watching a televised game on mute. I don't begrudge anyone who does it the other way, but I have to have audio to truly capture my attention. The typical sports bar setup doesn't work if I'm trying to follow a game.
Agreed. But my point was more about how hard it is for me to get into a game that's on mute.
