Track is sloppy here at Belmont Park.

My superfecta is Master of Hounds, Santiva, Animal Kingdom and Stay Thirsty.

Master of Hounds has already been pounded down from 10-1 to 9-2, and Santiva from 15-1 to 7-1.

Doesn't appear that it will dry out. It's gray and cool, and we're supposed to get some more showers. Just gloomy all day.

Wouldn't expect a lot of sustained relief from the weatherman.

Santiva still single digits?

Santiva back up to 13-1

Would seem he has a shot, though Shack at 10-1 seems like Christmas in June.

Who's going to go with Shackleford? Appears to be nobody. He could run and hide.

A sacrificial lamb or two may emerge, if the NY jockey colony resents Castanon and
Romans, enough. We'll see.

For what it's worth, the front and the rail are the places to be in the short stakes races. Not sure if that's going to translate over a mile and a half. And Shack breaks from the 12 post. But there it is.
